FAQ’s:

How do I take the VitamoreD™ tablets

Take two tablets with or without food daily.

Do I Need to Take Boron or Magnesium with VitamoreD™?

No, you don't need to take Boron or Magnesium with VitamoreD™. This is because VitamoreD™ contains Calcifediol, the active form of Vitamin D, which allows your body to absorb and process Vitamin D much faster and more efficiently—without the need for these additional co-factors.

Why Traditional Vitamin D3 Supplements Need Co-factors:

  • Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) and Vitamin D2 (Ergocalciferol) are the most common forms of Vitamin D found in supplements.

  • To become usable, these forms must undergo hydroxylation in the liver, where they are converted into Calcifediol (the active form found in VitamoreD™).

  • This conversion process requires Magnesium to help transform Vitamin D into its active form. Without enough magnesium, the process slows down, delaying the benefits of the vitamin.

The Role of Boron:

  • Boron helps extend the half-life of Vitamin D and Magnesium, allowing these nutrients to stay active in the body for longer.

Why VitamoreD™ is Different:

  • VitamoreD™ already provides Calcifediol, the active form of Vitamin D, so it skips the liver conversion process. This means your body can absorb and use the vitamin quickly without relying on magnesium or boron.

  • You’ll enjoy faster, more consistent benefits from Vitamin D, as your body can utilize it immediately.

In Summary:

With VitamoreD™, you can skip the hassle of taking extra co-factors like Boron or Magnesium. The active form of Vitamin D (Calcifediol) in VitamoreD™ ensures rapid absorption and prolonged effectiveness—giving you all the benefits without the wait!

How awesome is that?

Why is Calcifediol Better than Cholecalciferol?

Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) is the form of Vitamin D your body naturally produces when exposed to sunlight and is commonly found in many supplements. However, before your body can use it, Cholecalciferol must be converted into Calcifediol in the liver—a process that can be slow and inefficient for some people.

Key Differences:

  • Cholecalciferol requires conversion in the liver to become usable as Vitamin D.

  • Calcifediol is the next step in this conversion process and is closer to the active form your body needs, called Calcitriol.

Why Calcifediol is Superior:

  • Bypasses the Liver Conversion: Calcifediol supplements skip the slow liver conversion process, ensuring faster and more efficient absorption.

  • More Consistent Results: Even if your body struggles to process Cholecalciferol, Calcifediol guarantees a quicker and more consistent increase in your Vitamin D levels.

The Bottom Line:

With Calcifediol, you get a faster, more reliable boost to your Vitamin D levels without the delays and potential issues that can arise from relying on Cholecalciferol conversion. It’s a "shortcut" to better health!

Is There Research on Calcifediol?

Can I Take Vitamin K2 with VitamoreD™?

Yes, you can take Vitamin K2 with VitamoreD™. For those with a K2 deficiency, studies suggest that it may be useful to support optimal heart and bone health when taken in combination with your daily dose of VitamoreD™.

Why is Calcifediol Better than Cholecalciferol for Vitamin D Supplementation?

Calcifediol is superior to Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) for several reasons:

  • Faster Absorption: Oral Calcifediol results in a more rapid increase in serum 25OHD (the active form of Vitamin D) compared to Cholecalciferol.

  • Higher Potency: Calcifediol is more potent, meaning lower dosages are needed to achieve optimal Vitamin D levels.

This makes VitamoreD™, which contains Calcifediol, a more efficient and effective choice for Vitamin D supplementation!

  • Are these products available in the USA?

Yes, VitamoreD is available in the USA. If you order via our website, it is shipped the same day free of charge. VitamoreD is also available on Amazon USA. You can search the ASIN.
B0CCW6WQPN or under the brand name VitamoreD.

  • Why use PEG's which a lot of people have allergies to? This seemed like such a good, natural product - until I noticed the use of polyethylene glycol, I have now been put off :(

Hey, so we have to use Polyethylene Glycol to stabilise the Calcifediol. It's an exteremely small amount that is just a coating over the tablet. It's not a massive amount, but we have had to do this in order to stabilise the tablet during transportation and for safety. We are working on a new formulation without the PEG's soon.

  • How many capsules a day and how long do you take it for.

Hi there, we recommend 2 x tablets daily.

However, you have to remember if you stood in the sun between 10-20 minutes (depending on the skin colour). You can absorb anything between 10,000 i.u. - 20,000 i.u. through the skin.

  • Is this the same D3 as the calcifediolo gel tablets you can buy in Spain and Italy that are 0.266mg. I.E. do your tablets do the same job by getting the active D3 into your system within 2 hours? (But obviously at a lower dose 10mcg, compared to 266mcg) Thanks

Yes VitamoreD is Vitamin D as Calcifediol which is the hydroxylated form and increases vitamin D levels 3.2 x more quickly.

  • Is this activated form of vit d produced by liver-calcifediol?

Yes, this is Calcifediol that is produced when the liver hydroxylates the Cholecalciferol and converts it into Calcifediol.

  • What is the current use by date please?

The current use by date is: 16/05/2025 for VitamoreD

  • Hello. The supplement says 10mcg of vit D 2000iu. But one of these numbers is wrong. As 10mcg of Vitamin D is only 400iu. So which number is correct?

10 mcg of Cholecalciferol = 400 i.u. because of the form of Vitamin D being the unactivated form Cholechalciferol that needs to be processed to become Calcifediol, and then be processed by the kidneys to become Calcitriol the active form of Vitamin D where you feel the benefits.

Calcifediol is the hydroxylated form of vitamin D which is 5 x more activated there for 10 mcg = 2000 i.u.

  • So you ship to the UK?

We ship from within the UK and the product is UK based and produced.

  • Do you need to consume your Vitamin D with fat?

Nope, not at all. As the form is bound to vitamin D binding proteins in the body and transported into the kidneys where it is hydroxylated to become Calcitriol and does not rely on fat to be absorbed.

We delivered a presentation on vitamin D which you maybe interested in on our YouTube Channel: How to Optimise Your Vitamin D

  • I read k2 with vit d3 is possibly good to stave off dementia I have generic predisposition to late onset Alzheimer’s which is freaking me out . So this vit d of yours does not require k2 as most other vit d products do for efficacy but I maybe still need to take k2 supplement as well as your vit d for the benefits? . Not sure if you know the answer to this . Thanks

Hi Kate, yep that is correct. You see VitamoreD is Calcifediol which enters directly into the gut and goes straight into the kidneys where it increases the vitamin D levels 3.2 x faster as it is able to convert to calcitriol (active form of vitamin D) quickly without the need for cofactors.

Yep, there is a lot of research around k2 and it's protective affects against calcification in particular with neurodegnetarive disesase.
